We tend to talk with God and tell Him about our problems. That’s ok, and we are encouraged to cast all our cares on the Lord! However, there comes a time when we need to talk to our problems and tell them about God.
Mark 11:22-24 says “Jesus answering said unto them, Have faith in God. For I say unto you, that whosoever shall say (speak) to this mountain, be thou removed, and be cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he says.”
The mountains to which we need to speak are not natural, like the beautiful Grand Teton mountains I recently saw in Wyoming. Our mountains are things in our life that need to be resolved by Divine intervention.
Jesus indicates there is power in words spoken with faith. Therefore, based on the words of Jesus, we need, by faith believing, speak to those mountains, without doubting in our heart, and trust God to do what only He can do.
Faith links our impossibilities with God; and remember, with God all things are possible! So, face every day giving thanks to God, and living with full expectation that good things will come to us from the hand of God. Blessings, Pastor Gerry
