What a blast it is to work training up university students to lead in musical worship. We are thanking God for a wonderful service last night at Triad Ministries Church of God in Christ in Kernersville, NC. A spring BREAK outreach team from Eastern Michigan University led by our dear friends, Daniel and Sarah E Jackson were in the house. I had the honor of preaching for our friend and ministry partner, Dr. Eric Greaux and First Lady Mimi Greaux. What a privilege it was to preach to old friends and new about the parableof the Sower, the Seed and the Soi.

We have been praying about a New Project that has been given to us alongside everything else. A small group in Tasiilaq Greenland is trying toget a bigger house to gather in for the Church there. We have been asked to come see what we can do. Pray for us and them. We have as well been asked to help produce the Icelandic Bible in Audio form for the YouVersion Bible app. The Bible Society and Gideons
are interested in this but need help. Lindin Radio can do the work. We as well need a bit more support for the next year. Blessings to you and again Thank You for your support in keeping us here.

John and Daralena will continue serving in Slovakia where they have been missionaries since 2009. Their present focus is on the Roma Gypsies of that country. They reside in the area known as the “Black Hole” of Slovakia where approximately half a million Roma Gypsies dwell. The Roma are a poverty stricken and marginalized people group throughout Europe. John and Daralena’s ministry encompasses a holistic approach. They engage in evangelism, construction teams, discipleship, and training leaders, as well as, humanitarian outreaches, teaching

It seems like Russia has been in the news a lot over the last year. Among other things, diplomats have been expelled. In the midst of all that, my (Cecil's) resident permit was cancelled and I was told to leave. In effect, I was deported. Later I was able to return on a visa, but that was only good for a period of time, and I had to leave again. This time the entire family has come to the States. Before leaving Russia, we were able to turn over much of our ministry to national workers. Some of the work, such has the Bible School, has been lead by Russian nationals for some time. A few other things were fairly easy to turn over since we have been doing them jointly with Russian churches. Other work, such as the dacha project, required us to step up our schedules. And in a few cases plans had to
be put on indefinite postponement. Things have gone well as the Missionary in Residence at the Native American Bible College. I've enjoyed getting to know the folks there, both in the dormitory and classrooms I've also had a great time getting to know the staff. Russia continues to be in the news from time to time: messing with our election, playing with Facebook, and so on- Oh well, maybe bad politics will end when Jesus comes back. I'm so glad Jesus came the first time. The family is doing well.

Recently in the APTS chapel a young man from China ,who will graduate in March, in our Chinese program gave a message from Phil. 1:27-30: ". . . I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. . . . For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him. . . ." This is particularly appropriate considering the way things are in China right now. His message was translated by Stephen Yao, another student from China, who was my student several years ago. At the end of the course Stephen came up to me and said, "My life was transformed in this class." Stephen is now in our faculty development program.
